Someone to Call WhenThe Technical Thing Breaks

Most small businesses don't need an IT department. They need one person who already knows their setup and picks up the phone when the website goes down, the email stops arriving, or nobody can remember who owns the domain.

What I help with

Websites

Something's broken, something needs changing, something looks wrong on a phone. Whether or not I built it.

Domains

Renewals, transfers, DNS settings, and the panic when a domain is about to expire and nobody knows which account it's in. Losing one is a genuinely bad day.

Business email

Setup, moving between providers, mail going to spam, mail not arriving, and the sending records that decide whether your email reaches anyone.

Logins and access

Working out who owns what, getting you back into accounts, and putting it somewhere you'll find it next time.

Third-party tools

Booking systems, payment providers, CRMs, analytics, and the plugin that stopped talking to the other plugin.

Backups and safety

Knowing what would happen if something got deleted, before it does.

There's also the category with no name — the "can you just look at this" that takes twenty minutes, which is exactly why nobody wants to open a support ticket for it. That's most of what this is.

Two ways to work

Ad hoc

Something breaks, you message me, I fix it and invoice it. Fine if problems are rare.

A care plan

A set amount of time each month at a lower rate, with priority when something urgent happens. Better if you'd rather not think about any of this. Month to month, no notice period.

What I don't do

No on-site work, office networks, hardware repair or phone systems. If that's what you need I'll tell you on the first call, not after you've paid me.

Why one person beats a helpdesk here

Context is most of the work. By the second or third time, I already know where your domain is registered, which email provider you're on, what your site is built with and who else has access. A helpdesk starts from zero every time and asks you to explain your own setup to someone new.

Common questions

Do you have to have built my website?

No. Most support clients came to me with a site someone else built.

How quickly do you respond?

Care plan clients get priority. For anything genuinely urgent — site down, email down — message me on WhatsApp rather than emailing, and say it's urgent.

Can I start with one problem and see how it goes?

Yes, and most people do. Nobody signs up to a monthly plan before they know whether they like working with me.

What if I want to stop?

Care plans are month to month. No notice period, no contract to escape.

Do you work with clients outside the US?

Yes. I work with clients worldwide and I'm used to working across time zones.

Get it off your plate

Tell me what keeps going wrong. For anything urgent, WhatsApp is the fastest way to reach me.

No contract, no notice period, no minimum term.
